RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION FOR REAL LIFE
Learn how to relate—
before crisis becomes the teacher
Dating. Love. Sex. Commitment. Conflict. Marriage. Parenthood. Intimacy. Separation/Divorce. Starting over.
Relationships shape nearly every part of our lives.
Yet most of us were never actually taught how to navigate them.
We learn how to build careers.
Manage money.
Raise families.
Take care of homes.
Plan weddings.
But when it comes to choosing partners, communicating honestly, setting boundaries, navigating conflict, maintaining intimacy, repairing after hurt or knowing when a relationship needs to change...
We're often expected to figure it out as we go.
RE-WILDING RELATIONSHIPS IS CHANGING THAT.
Welcome to LEARN—
Relationship education, Guided experiences and practical tools for humans navigating every stage of relating.
You don't have to be married.
You don't have to be in crisis.
You don't even have to be in a relationship.
You just have to be human.

I TEACH HUMANS HOW TO RELATE.
Relationship skills aren't something we're simply born knowing.
We learn them.
We learn how to regulate ourselves when we're activated.
How to recognize the patterns we bring into relationships.
How to communicate without attacking, defending or disappearing.
How to listen without abandoning ourselves.
How to create healthy boundaries.
How to navigate differences.
How to repair after conflict.
How to understand attachment.
How to recognize power dynamics.
How to talk honestly about sex.
How to maintain intimacy through changing seasons of life.
How to decide whether to stay, leave, recommit or begin again.
And perhaps most importantly:
How to remain connected to ourselves while being deeply connected to another human.
That's relational literacy.
And we believe it should be available long before someone reaches a therapy office.

DATING & CHOOSING
Why do I keep choosing the same relationship in a different body?
Dating isn't only about finding someone who chooses you.
It's learning how to choose well.
Explore attraction, attachment, boundaries, compatibility, emotional availability, relationship patterns,
sex, expectations, red flags, green flags and the difference between chemistry and relational capacity.
For: single people, people dating, people returning to dating and
anyone wanting to understand their relationship patterns before choosing again.
COMMITMENT & MARRIAGE
Prepare for the relationship—not just the wedding.
Love matters.
So do the conversations couples often postpone.
Money.
Sex.
Children.
Family.
Values.
Power.
Roles.
Expectations.
Conflict.
Attachment.
Boundaries.
Religion.
Careers.
Lifestyle.
And what commitment actually means to each of you.
Relationship education before marriage gives couples an opportunity to understand not only who they love, but the relationship they're intentionally choosing to build.
FEATURED EXPERIENCE:
TRUTH BEFORE THE VOWS
Premarital education for couples who want more than a beautiful wedding.
Truth Before the Vows is Re-Wilding Relationships' comprehensive online premarital education course
exploring the conversations, skills and relational patterns that matter before marriage.
The curriculum includes attachment, boundaries, relational maturity, communication and repair, sexuality and erotic compatibility, money and power, family systems, parenting, autonomy, commitment and the realities of long-term partnership.
LOVE & LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP
How do we keep choosing each other after real life begins?
Long-term relationships change.
Careers grow.
Bodies change.
Children arrive.
Parents age.
Hormones shift.
Stress accumulates.
Sex evolves.
Responsibilities multiply.
And two people who once couldn't keep their hands off each other can suddenly find themselves discussing schedules, bills and who's unloading the dishwasher.
Long-term love requires more than chemistry.
Explore emotional connection, conflict, resentment, friendship, attachment, boundaries, power, repair, shared meaning and how relationships evolve through different seasons of life.
CONFLICT & REPAIR
Why do we keep having the same fight?
Because the argument you're having may not actually be the problem.
Underneath recurring relationship conflict are often deeper patterns involving attachment, protection, shame, power, boundaries, emotional regulation, family-of-origin experiences and the ways each person learned to survive vulnerability.
Learn how to recognize your relationship cycle.
Understand what happens when you're activated.
Identify criticism, defensiveness, withdrawal, pursuit, control and self-abandonment.
Learn how to pause without abandoning.
Tell the truth without making your partner the enemy.
Take responsibility without collapsing into shame.
And repair after things go sideways.
Because healthy relationships aren't relationships without conflict.
They're relationships with greater capacity for repair.
SEX, DESIRE & INTIMACY
What happens when love remains—but desire changes?
Sexual relationships evolve.
Desire can change because of stress, resentment, parenthood, hormones, aging, health, medication, body image, emotional disconnection, shame, novelty, boredom, relationship dynamics and the realities of being with another human for a very long time.
Relationship and sexuality education can help you understand:
Desire discrepancy
Low or changing desire
Sexual communication
Eroticism in long-term relationships
Sexual shame
Pleasure
Fantasy
Body image
Kink and BDSM
Consensual non-monogamy
ADHD and sexuality
Intimacy after children
Midlife sexuality
Erotic discovery
Sex after betrayal
And how emotional and sexual intimacy influence one another.
Sex isn't a side issue in relationships.
It's part of how many humans experience connection, identity, vulnerability, pleasure and aliveness.

SELF IN RELATIONSHIP
Why do I become this version of myself when I love someone?
You can be confident at work.
Independent with friends.
Capable in almost every area of your life.
And then a relationship activates something completely different.
Fear.
Jealousy.
Control.
People-pleasing.
Withdrawal.
Anxiety.
Defensiveness.
Shame.
Self-abandonment.
Relationships have an extraordinary ability to reveal the parts of us that still need attention.
Explore attachment, differentiation, emotional regulation, boundaries, self-esteem, adaptive childhood strategies, relational power, vulnerability and the ability to stay connected to yourself while loving someone else.
Because sometimes the relationship work isn't about finding a better partner.
It's about becoming a different participant in your relationships.

PARENTHOOD & FAMILY
What happens to "us" when everyone else needs something from us?
Parenthood changes relationships.
Sleep disappears.
Mental load increases.
Time becomes scarce.
Sex changes.
Bodies change.
Money changes.
Priorities change.
And partners who once had enormous amounts of time for one another may suddenly become co-managers of an incredibly demanding little human.
Explore the transition to parenthood, mental load, division of labor, parenting differences, intimacy after children, boundaries with extended family, maintaining partnership and navigating family systems.
Family relationships don't stop evolving when children become adults, either.
Re-Wilding Relationships education will also explore adult children, aging parents, caregiving, sibling relationships, in-laws, estrangement and the boundaries required across generations.

RELATIONSHIP CROSSROADS
What if I don't know whether I want to stay?
Not every relationship question has an immediate answer.
Sometimes you love someone and still question whether the relationship works.
Sometimes you've grown apart.
Sometimes trust has been damaged.
Sometimes one person wants change and the other doesn't.
Sometimes you're exhausted.
Sometimes you're wondering whether you're experiencing a difficult season—or the end of the relationship.
Educational resources can help you explore relational accountability, ambivalence, patterns, values, needs, boundaries, repair and the questions worth asking before making major decisions.
Relationship education is not a substitute for Discernment Counseling or individualized therapy when deeper clinical support is needed.
But sometimes understanding the terrain helps you recognize your next step.

ENDINGS & BEGINNING AGAIN
How do I let go without losing myself?
Relationships ending doesn't mean the relationship meant nothing.
Breakups and divorce can involve grief, relief, anger, fear, identity changes, financial disruption, parenting changes, loneliness and the loss of a future you once imagined.
And eventually, another question may emerge:
Who am I now?
Explore conscious endings, grief, boundaries, co-parenting, rebuilding identity, dating after divorce, learning from previous relationship patterns and approaching love differently the next time around.
Ending one trail doesn't mean the journey is over.
Sometimes it's the beginning of another one.

You don't need everything.
You need the right thing for where you are.
RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION OR THERAPY?
They're different—and both can matter.
Re-Wilding Relationships is being built around a simple idea:
Relationship education helps people learn concepts, skills and practices that can support healthier relationships.
It may be appropriate when you want to understand a relationship pattern, learn a new skill, have better conversations, prepare for a transition or proactively invest in your relational life.
Therapy is individualized clinical treatment provided by a licensed mental health professional.
Therapy may be more appropriate when you're experiencing significant distress, trauma, mental health symptoms, relational instability, sexual concerns requiring individualized assessment, high-conflict patterns or circumstances that require professional clinical care.
Educational content from Re-Wilding Relationships is not psychotherapy and does not create a therapist-client relationship.
If you're unsure where to begin, we'll help you explore your options.
[ EXPLORE THERAPY → ]
BUILT BY A RELATIONSHIP & SEX THERAPIST.
Created for humans.
Re-Wilding Relationships was founded by Malia Scott, LPC, CSCT, an integrative relationship and sex therapist, educator and entrepreneur.
Malia's clinical and educational work draws from relationship therapy, sex therapy, attachment theory, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Imago
Relationship Therapy, differentiation, family systems, nervous-system regulation and decades of lived human experience.
But Re-Wilding isn't being built to turn everyone into a therapist.
It's being built to make sophisticated relationship knowledge understandable, practical and usable in everyday life.
Because some of the most important relationship skills shouldn't be available only inside a therapy room.
THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.
Re-Wilding Relationships is building a growing relationship education platform for humans navigating the entire lifespan of relationships.
From:
Who should I date?
to
Should we get married?
to
Why are we fighting about this again?
to
Where did our sex life go?
to
Who are we after the kids leave?
to
Should I stay?
to
How the hell do I start over?
And everything in between.
The destination isn't a perfect relationship.
It's becoming more capable of relating.
To yourself.
To a partner.
To your family.
To the people you love.
And to the changing seasons of your life.
YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU NEED YET.
That's why we built the Trailhead.
Tell us where you are.
Tell us what's happening.
We'll help you find somewhere to begin.
FIND WHERE YOU ARE.
UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING.
DISCOVER WHAT COMES NEXT.
