What’s “Intensive Therapy”?

And, why an intensive vs. weekly, bi-weekly or monthly traditional couples/sex therapy?

Intensive Therapy are long form sessions, usually 3-4 hours in length, in which you can dive deeply into a complex issue. These sessions are absolutely ideal for people who like more time for their systems to unwind, want to work on a specific issue with more depth or are looking for deep exploration.

These sessions are not meant to be ongoing therapy, they are merely a different way of diving into integration.

If you are looking for a therapist who can see you on an ongoing weekly basis or if you are in crisis, an Intensive might NOT be the best fit for you.

If you have identified a specific difficulty, if you enjoy self-exploration, if you travel frequently or are looking to explore how therapy might benefit you, then this may be something you want to explore.

Intensive therapy is proven to be more effective than traditional weekly couples therapy.
In fact, it’s been shown to cut your time in therapy in half.

In one intensive couples therapy session, you’ll gain the insight and tools it would otherwise take months of counseling to achieve.

An intensive is fast-paced, gentle but direct couples & sex therapy that quickly helps you get to the bottom of your issues.

Using research-based couples therapy techniques, tools and exercises, we will work together on goal setting, presenting issues, couple’s dynamics, attachment styles, attachment wounding/repair, communication, co-regulation, relaxation, homework and more.

I offer 4 & 8 hour Intensives.

Individual Therapy Intensive

Upon booking, we will confirm what time/day will be allotted for your Therapy Intensive.

Investment:
• 4 hour Intensive - $560

50% payment is due upon booking your Individual Therapy Intensive,
Remaining 50% payment is due the day of your Individual Therapy Intensive.

Cancellation policy:
Because I set aside this time just for you both, I invest time to prepare for you and your family.

Cancellations received with at least 14 days’ notice will be refunded at 100%, minus a $200 administrative fee.
Cancellations received with at least 7 days’ notice will be refunded at 50%, minus a $200 administrative fee.
Cancellations received with less than 7 days’ notice WILL NOT be refunded.

Couples & Sex Therapy Intensive

How it works:

4 hour Couples & Sex Therapy Intensive

Investment: $760

and 30-day follow-up session (50 min)

50% payment is due upon booking your Couples & Sex Therapy Intensive,
Remaining 50% payment is due the day of your Intensive.

8 hour Couples & Sex Therapy Intensive

Investment: $1,520

50% payment is due upon booking your Intake Assessment session,
Remaining 50% payment is due the day of your 6 hour intensive.
